Love Letter Birthdays

I had several birthdays creep up on me recently.  Since they were for some VERY special people in my life, I wanted to make some special cards.  I also wanted something that would suit the personalities of all the lovely women I was sending cards to (hello to my sweet Grams, Lisa-the best Upline EVER & my awesome downline Jess!)  I think I was able to fit the bill with this card featuring Love Letter and Newsprint DSP (Designer Series Paper).  I cased a card I saw in the most current issue of PaperCrafts Magazine, but altered it to use Stampin Up products since they are so fabulous.  (wink.)  Without further ado, here's my card:

I also did the inside and made a liner for the envelope.  I think that made it extra special!

Other supplies used:  Perfect Polka Dots Textured Embossing Folder, Herb Expressions stamp set, Antique Brads, Black Lace Ribbon from Holiday Mini, 2-Step Bird Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch and Fleurettes II Accents & Elements.  Visit my web store to purchase any of these products.

My partner and I really enjoyed reading this blog post, I was just itching to know do you trade featured posts? I am always trying to find someone to make trades with and merely thought I would ask.

Atually, there is a very cool thing I like to use to keep track of blog posts and websites I find interesting. It's delicious.com You can add searchable tags to the blog posts you save so they are easier for you to find later. Hope that helps!
