Blogger Trouble

I am having a heck of a time with Blogger lately.  I can't upload pictures, and it doesn't want to post when I tell it to.  So, instead of dumping a bunch of time and energy into trying to figure this out, I'm going to start posting pictures of my cards on Pinterest.  The picture will include detailed information about the card.  If you want to follow my cards on Pinterest, you can find them HERE.

Time Thief

Those of you who have been with me a while, know how much I like to read.  One of my favorite authors (Katie MacAlister) is coming out with a new book called Time Thief.  I really love her Dragon books, so I'm excited to hear more about this one.  If you like a great science fiction story with a little romance and a touch of snark, you should check out her books.  You can find more info about Time Thief HERE.

Heartfelt Thank You's

I am a very lucky girl.  I have a friend who not only shares my love of all things paper crafty, but also supports my habit.  How great is that??  Her latest gift to me was a set of stamps and the matching dies.  It's a beautiful stamp set from Heartfelt Creations that features a lovely teacup.  Here is the thank you card I created for her using the stamps and dies she bought me.

It took me a bit to get used to using the stamps and dies together.  By using the technique they recommend at Heartfelt Creations I was able to get it pretty quickly.  You can download a PDF of the instructions for lining up the stamps and dies HERE.  It's the one called "Matching the Stamps and Dies."  Have fun.

The inside of the card is pretty simple.  I used a scalloped square punch from Stampin' Up to make the photo corners.

After I finished this card, I needed a thank you for my sister.  She supports my habit (love) of paper crafting too.  To thank her for the Michael's gift card she got me for my birthday, I made her this:

It also uses a die from Heartfelt Creations.  I love their butterfly dies!

Well, that's all for today.  I hope you enjoyed the cards.  See you next time!

Happy St. Patty's Day

Welcome!  Today I have a card to share with you that I made a couple of years ago.  I don't remember why I didn't send it out when I made it, but sometimes I do that.  Do you ever make cards and then keep them in your stash for a while before you send them out?

My card was inspired by THIS card on Splitcoast.  It uses the heart image from Stampin' Up's stamp set Polka Dot Punches.  It's one of my favorite cards.  I hope you like it too.

And here's the inside:

I hope you and yours have a great St. Patrick's Day!

Magical Cards for Magical People

Hi!  I know it's been a while since I posted.  Thanks for hanging in there with me.  Today, I have a couple of thank you cards to show you that I made for two very special people in my life.  The castle image is a stamp I got after I saw THIS post.  I'm a huge fan of all things Disney and I just knew I would have the opportunity to use this stamp.

As you can see if you checked out the link above, I totally cased the castle and the saying (Stampin' Up) on the front of the card.  I just added some paper flowers.  The rhinestones were clear, but I colored them purple with a Slick Writer.  The above card was a thank you to my sister for making time to visit with us while we were in Florida.

The card below was for a good friend of mine who went on vacation our latest Disney vacation with us.  The flowers are really purple even though some of them look almost black in the picture.

I kept the inside of the card really simple.

Both my sister and my friend loved their cards.  I'm happy with the way they came out.  I'm SO happy I bought the castle stamp.  I know I'll use it again.  :)

Best Christmas Card EVER

Hi out there!  I just received a fabulous card from my good friend Elizabeth.  It's a round easel card with a clear window to hold beads (for snow) and mini pom-poms on the winter hats.  It's adorable!  Take a peek:

Batty Halloween

Wow, it's been a really long time since I posted on here!  Since it's been so long, I thought I would catch up a bit.  Here is a Halloween card I made for one of my good friends.  I got my inspiration from Stamper Camper.  I like to put a link to the original inspiration for my cards, but Stamper Camper has changed her blog and my saved link doesn't work.  Any-whoo, here's my card.
